Last week I ordered a measurement kit from Juice hifi in Norway.

It will be used as a measurement tool for the Audiolense software, where the microphones calibration file can be directly input in the software for best performance.

So now its time to make some measurements and learn the Audiolense software.

The software is normally used for home audio systems. There is little knowledge how it works in a car.

A cars cabin is a difficult place to make decent and good sound. Its small, have many reflecting surfaces, cabingain and you are sitting ½-1½ meter from the speakers, depending on which car you use.

So I think I will have many hours ahead of me, sitting in my car, measuring and tuning the Audiolense:)

I have started on a new setup for this year.

It will consist of the following:
Source Unit: Car PC
Amplifiers: 2xGenesis Project 15 for the midbass/midrange and tweeter, 1xVrX 2.400 for the subwoofer.
Speakers: Genesis Studio 16 midrange and Tweeter, Morel Ultimo 12″ subwoofer.

Pictures will follow.

I am planning a new setup with a car computer as audio player with high resolution audio files.
